So eventually levels for both characters and pets will take an unreasonably long amount of work and time for little benefit. A pet of mine currently gives me +40 energy and nothing else, but it takes nearly 1000 energy potions alone to get him a level and that's after farming for hours until I have 150K gold or something like that (Temple of Seasons is actually a great place to incur a lot of income). But they too require more and more items to earn a level up, so you could say that they have a "soft cap" too. To that end, pets don't have a level cap either. Secrets of Grindea is an old-school RPG with co-op support for up to 4 players. So eventually, killing Green Slimes and Rabbys does become a viable way to level up (you could probably even AFK farm thanks to summons if set up correctly). ![]() ![]() I've not heard official word, but it comes up to needing 10,000 more EXP per kill (or so I've heard, I'll confirm it when I reach there which seems to be soon) and depending on your level to that of monsters (they all have levels), the EXP gets reduced more and more, at a minimum of 1 EXP per kill. ![]() There's no hard cap, but there's a "soft cap".
